Awe...this cow is too cute to be just a number so my daughter named her Daisy.

I appreciate people who post their EXIF data along with their photos...that has been a huge help in furthering my skills.
Thanks for looking at my blog. I may not always reply to comments, but your comment will allways send me to your blog. All comments are welcome and appreciated!

@Cruz: Thank you Cruz!

Lovely picture. I got licked by one of these last week at an agricultural show.
As a learning excercise (fellow beginner here and certainly no expert...I bought my Nikon D3000 in November), I'd try the same shot in apperture priority, with a range of F stops from F22 to maybe an F8 or even lower, to experiment and compare the difference. (A friend advised me to try this, and it helped me understand a lot about what settings I prefer for which kind of picture.) There's certainly no right or wrong way....but it helped me figure out how to get the pictures I like (well, a better hit rate at least :o) )
Hope this helps.

@Bear: Thank you Bear! You know...as I was driving home after taking a few shots of the cows I thought that I should have shot it in appeture priority. Great advice - I will certainly try that!
