Mindi, if you are just a beginner in photography, you are a NATURAL!!! and have found your calling. Your images are fantastic. :)

@Marion: Marion, Thank you for the WONDERFUL comment and yes I really am a beginner with a SLR. I have always loved photography but have never been happy with the photos that I get from a point and shoot camera. I have always wanted to try a SLR, so I bought my first SLR in March of this year, and I dont think I have put it down since. I knew nothing about the settings when I got it and I was pretty intimidated, but I am learning a lot from this website. I am enormously appreciative of this website and the people who post their exif data along with their photos, because that really helps me sooooo much!! I will never go back to a point and shoot! I am hooked! ;-)

Linda from United States

I cant believe they stopped long enough for you to get their picture...they look so much alike anymore...beautiful picture of them.

@Linda: Thank you...they love laying in the shade when it is hot and there is a breeze.

janina from Melbourne, Australia

These are cuties too! Send them to me, please, if you ever need a dogsitter!
PS: Once you become a lot more familiar with an SLR, go back to your compact digital and play around with the settings, and you'll find you will produce much better images as you will understand a lot more! And, read the manual from front to back cover. Make sense?! Trust me! best to you, :O)
